BuyFood is the international showcase dedicated to the PDO, PGI, Agriqualità, Organic, Prodotto di Montagna (Mountain Product) and PAT (Traditional Agricultural Products) of Tuscany.
Come and meet selected producers of Tuscan PDO, PGI, Organic and Agriqualità certified quality products, Mountain Products and PAT- Traditional Agricultural Products. Your time is important to us: in order to create targeted business opportunities, the agendas of meetings between international buyers and Tuscan sellers are pre-scheduled, generated by a matching system which carefully crosses the respective profiles & preferences.BuyFood Toscana 2023 is organized by Tuscany Region in collaboration with the Florence Chamber of Commerce its Agency PromoFirenze, and Fondazione Sistema Toscana.

Selected qualified participants will be offered the following incentives:
- International return flight ticket, economy class
- Private transfer airport/hotel/airport
- Accommodation in Siena city center 4* hotel, accordingly to the flight schedule. An additional night will be covered if any optional tour is selected
- Dinner on September 28th, accordingly to date of arrival
- Welcome dinner on September 29th
- Lunch on September 30th at the B2B venue
- Personalized B2B agenda of target companies
- Transfers, meals and accommodation on October 1st during if Educational tour is selected
BuyFood accepts max 2 buyers per company.
Second buyer will be offered the following incentives:
- Private transfer airport/hotel/airport
- Dinner on September 28th, accordingly to date of arrival
- Welcome dinner on September 29th
- Lunch on September 30th at the B2B venue
- Same B2B agenda of the first buyer
- Transfers, meals and accommodation on October 1st during if Educational tour is selected
Please note: the second buyer will have to pay and arrange flights/train and hotel stay. The official travel agency is available to support, on request.
HOW TO APPLY
If you wish to participate in this initiative, please follow the instructions below and send your application by June 12th 2020. Please note that, as the number of sponsorships is limited, we will be accepting the buyers considered more suiting with the Tuscan companies.
- CONFIRMATION: once your profile has been confirmed by BuyFood Toscana organizers, you will receive your credentials by email, to register on the B2B platform
- FOOD PRODUCERS SELECTION: once you are registered in the B2B platform you will be asked to select the food producers you wish to meet
- FLIGHT AND ACCOMMODATION: BuyFood official travel agency will contact you to arrange your flight and accommodation
EDUCATIONAL TOUR
BuyFood Toscana will give the selected buyers the opportunity to choose one itinerary among those proposed as Educational Tours, in order to discover the origin of the quality of the Tuscan products.
3 educational tours will bring buyers to Florence, Pisa and Massa Carrara, thanks to the support of the local Chambers of Commerce and Consortiums.
Every tour will take 1 day. All costs are covered for the selected buyers.
Tour will leave from Siena on October 1st and a full day and overnight will be spent in the chosen territory.
Return to Florence and departure is planned for October 2nd.
During each tour, buyers will have the chance to know Tuscan lands, from a gastronomic but also historical and artistic point of view, thanks to guided visits and tastings.
